about me

I’m a Southern writer transplanted and currently rooted in the Pacific Northwest. This in my first adventure in blogging. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ll return many times, and check out my web site as well.

I haven’t figured out yet how to make this a link. 🙂 http://www.ruthandrew.com.

Again, thanks for checking out this blog!

  1. Hello Ruth,

To make the URL a link –

While you are in edit mode, there are a series of buttons at the top of the top of the text box. One of the buttons (about the 6th one from the right) looks like the link from a chain. This button is how you make the text into a link. Highlight the text you want to use (in your case, I would highlight the words “my website”), then go up to the top and click the link button (the one that looks like a chain link). A new box will pop open. At the top, it says, “Enter the destination URL”. This is where you type “http://www.ruthandrew.com”. Below that, it says, “Title”. Here is where you type the words that will show when you move the mouse over your highlighted words. Click the “Add Link” button and you’re done.

In a nutshell: highlight the words you want to use as the link, click the link button, type the URL of the place you want the link to take you, type the words you want to appear during a mouse-over and click the “Add Link” button. Voila!

    Lila
