I’m a Southern writer transplanted to the Pacific Northwest for a number of years, recently returning to my southern roots in Georgia. This in my first adventure in blogging, as I venture into writing my first novel. Thanks for checking out this blog.

Hello Ruth,
To make the URL a link –
While you are in edit mode, there are a series of buttons at the top of the top of the text box. One of the buttons (about the 6th one from the right) looks like the link from a chain. This button is how you make the text into a link. Highlight the text you want to use (in your case, I would highlight the words “my website”), then go up to the top and click the link button (the one that looks like a chain link). A new box will pop open. At the top, it says, “Enter the destination URL”. This is where you type “http://www.ruthandrew.com”. Below that, it says, “Title”. Here is where you type the words that will show when you move the mouse over your highlighted words. Click the “Add Link” button and you’re done.
In a nutshell: highlight the words you want to use as the link, click the link button, type the URL of the place you want the link to take you, type the words you want to appear during a mouse-over and click the “Add Link” button. Voila!

Thank you. Sorry it’s taken me so long to respond. I appreciate your note.
I blog quite often and I seriously thank you for your content.
The article has really peaked my interest. I am going to take
a note of your website and keep checking for new details about once per week.
I subscribed to your RSS feed as well.
